JAKARTA - GAC Aion officially entered the Indonesian market by bringing the Y Plus model, and plans to present more models to enliven the Indonesian automotive market. During the presentation, he also revealed that he would launch three more models in the following year (2026). This means that there will be a total of 7 models that will enliven the Indonesian automotive market. "Indonesia is the largest automotive market in Asean with a mature industrial base, and new energy cars are a priority industry for Indonesia," he explained.

As is known, GAC has also mentioned that it will bring the Hyper GT model to Indonesia. Most likely the model will launch next year, given that only one model did launch this year. In addition, GAC has also launched the global version of the Hyper GT. Quoting from the Carnewschina page, this car will be equipped with a 800V platform, advanced driving assistance configuration or Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), and has a cruising range of 710 km. Interestingly, the Hyper GT is also equipped with new technology from GAC called Maples Intelligent Driving and has been tested on various roads, such as in Milan, Bangkok to Hong Kong.
