Prabowo Welcomed By State Ceremony At Al Ittihadiya Palace, Egypt

President Prabowo Subianto was greeted by the state ceremony procession when he arrived at the Al Ittihadiya Presidential Palace, Cairo, Egypt, in the context of a bilateral meeting-a-tete and meeting with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Shortly after arriving, the President was greeted directly by the President of the Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi at the Palace.

Reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, December 18, the two leaders shook hands and then walked hand in hand towards the saluting dais to attend the state welcoming ceremony by the honorary forces. Furthermore, the national anthem of the two countries was played.

After the welcoming ceremony, President Prabowo and President El-Sisi entered the Palace to hold a photo session together. After that, the two leaders introduced delegations to each country.

Indonesian delegates who took part in the meeting were Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Arif Havas, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia in Cairo Lutfi Rauf, Director General of Asia Pacific and Africa Abdul Kadir Jailani, and Director General of Protocol and Consular Andy Rachmianto.

Meanwhile, from the Egyptian delegation, namely the Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty, Cabinet Secretary Major General Ahmed Ali, Minister of Investment Hassan El Khatib, Director of the Egyptian Presidential Office Kosemble Omar Marwan, Egyptian Ambassador to Indonesia Yasser Hassan Elshemy, and Presidential Spokesperson, Ambassador Mohamed El Shenawi.

After the introduction, the two leaders then held a bilateral meeting with their respective delegates. The state welcoming ceremony was closed with a joint press statement and a state lunch by the President El-Sisi.
