Mitsubishi Prepares Two Latest Models At GIIAS 2024, Could XForce With ADAS Complete And Xpander HEV?

PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) took part in the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), which will take place July 18-28 at ICE BSD, Tangerang. At the exhibition Mitsubishi will launch two new models, as revealed by the SAM PR & CSR Department of PT MMKSI M. Fajar Pratama.

"In GIIAS 2024, a new model will be introduced. What is the model? Just wait," he said, when met in Jakarta, Wednesday, June 12.

From VOI's observation, Mitsubishi shared two silhouette models that read 'New Product Introduction'. Although not explained in more detail, it is predicted that one model is XForce with a more complete Advance Driver Assistance System (ADAS) feature.

In fact, Mitsubishi XForce is equipped with the ADAS feature, for example Hill Start Assist (HSA), Near Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Distribution with Brake Assist (EBD), Active Stability Control (ASC) and Blind Spot Warning (BSW). However, reflecting on competitors such as Honda HR-V has been equipped with more complete features.

In addition to XForce, another model is predicted, namely the Xpander Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) which also launched in Thailand at the beginning of February. Mitsubishi itself has registered a vehicle information indicator design, registered in the Official Industrial Design News No. 20/DI/2024 published by the Directorate of Copyright and Industrial Design of the Directorate General of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

From the registered designs, there are illustrations that illustrate how a hybrid car works, it can be seen that there are batteries that distribute power to the wheels. However, the two models mentioned above are limited to predictions, and do not deny the possibility of other models presented by Mitsubishi.

The manufacturer with the diamond logo will also present a variety of leading line-ups at the GIIAS 2024 event, including Xpander and Pajero Sport.

"We will present several line-ups of flagship vehicles, including the Triton jug and will hold a press conference," he added.
