Reporting from InsideEVs, Tuesday, May 14, Subaru plans to present the three latest electric SUVs developed by utilizing partnerships with Toyota.

Subaru CEO Atsushi Osaki said it was too risky for companies to develop EVs alone in the midst of an erratic electrification market and cooperation with Toyota could reduce this.

"We have held talks with Toyota and agreed that it is better to reduce risks through joint development," Osaki said.

This is a reasonable move given that the Subaru brand is not as big as other manufacturers such as Toyota or Volkswagen which have very high costs and resources.

The Tokyo-based manufacturer plans to launch its own four EVs by 2028. In addition, they are preparing a hybrid version of the existing product lineup, such as Crosstrack and Forester.
