Regarding The GAC Aion Price For The Indonesian Market, Indomobil: Will Be In Accordance With Community Expectations

JAKARTA - Car brands from China continue to come to Indonesia, especially from the electricity segment. At the beginning of the year, the electric car giant BYD officially entered Indonesia, and now another, GAC Aion, is collaborating with the Indomobil Group.

Not only one unit, GAC Aion plans to present two units at once, namely Aion Y Plus and Hyper HT and one of the units will launch at the GIIAS 2024 event, in July. So how much will the two car models cost?

"About the price of seeing nani, but interestingly," said PT Indomobil Energi Baru CEO Andry Ciu, when met in Jakarta, recently.

Although he did not elaborate in more detail regarding the price, Andry Ciu ensured (the price) would be in accordance with the expectations of the Indonesian people.

"In accordance with the expectations of the Indonesian people, the main thing is for the people to think the price this time is better," he added.

Indeed, the price is still a benchmark for automotive lovers to propose to electric cars in Indonesia, some existing models still price quite high.

If you look at the price in the local market (China), GAC Aion Y Plus is priced at around 179,800 to 202,600 yuan or around Rp395 million to Rp445 million, but this price cannot be a reference for the Indonesian market.
