JAKARTA - China's automotive company Wuling officially marked its debut in the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle Expo (GIICOMVEC) by showing off commercial vehicles from the Formo series.
Brian Gomgom, as Public Relations Manager of Wuling Motors, said that his presence from this series was aimed at strengthening the company's commitment to offering various kinds of mobility needs that could help business actors in the country.
"This is our commitment in presenting more commercial vehicles by showing off various cars from Formo," Brian told the media in the middle of the exhibition, Thursday, March 7.
At this event, the company brought 3 Formo units, consisting of 1 Blind Van Formo unit, 1 Formo Max unit, and 1 Formo Max unit which was modified into a Toko Car (MOKO). Wuling also provides a Formo Max unit in the test drive area for visitors to feel.
Formo marked the early adventures of Wuling in entering the realm of commercial vehicles in 2018. One of the variants brought in at this exhibition, Formo Blind Van itself carries a large cargo space, a silent cabin and minimal vibration due to engines up front, to other equipment such as Cluster meters with MID, head units, and air conditioner (AC) to support the convenience of business mobility. This model is equipped with a 1,200 cc capacity engine that transmits power to the rear wheels with a manual 5-speed transmission.

Then, the manufacturer added to the ranks of this series by presenting Formo Max in early 2023 as its first pick-up vehicle. Carrying the spirit of 'Enteng Makes Untung', this car has a large cargo area with a three-sided opening configuration, so it can load a lot of goods.
