After Officially Launching, SPK Chery Omoda E5 Claimed To Rise Drastically

JAKARTA - The latest electric car from PT Chery Sales Indonesia, Omoda E5, has been officially launched and received a warm welcome according to the company's expectations.

The price of Omoda E5 reached Rp498 million including VAT 1 percent. For the first 1,000 customers, special prices are offered at Rp488,800,000 including VAT 1 percent.

"We are very pleased to see the high enthusiasm for the OMODA E5 Chery, in accordance with our expectations. Therefore, we give our appreciation at the special price that we have prepared, which we have calculated based on VAT 1%. Even though the policy has not been implemented again, we provide privileges by setting a special price," said Rifkie Setiawan, Head of the Brand Department of PT Chery Sales Indonesia, in an official statement received on Wednesday, January 7.

The Chery sales team experienced a significant increase in demand and questions about a driving trial following the announcement of the official price of Chery OMODA E5. The average daily sales have increased 21 times from before, showing public enthusiasm for having an OMODA E5 Chery.

The first consumer of Chery OMODA E5 is entitled to additional benefits, including Life Insurance for Electric Motors / Power and insurance for one year. In addition, the purchase of OMODA E5, both at official prices and special prices, will get Ultimate Warning which includes battery guarantees for eight years or 180,000 Km, vehicle guarantees for six years or 160,000 Km, free service fees and spare parts for five years or 75,000 Km, as well as free road assistance services for one year. Consumers will also receive V2L Charger, 7 kW AC Charger, and Portable Charger for free.

In terms of specifications, the OMODA E5 Chery uses the power of the tested battery according to the WLTP (Worldwide harmonics Light Vehicles Procedure) and the NEDC (New European Driving Cycle) standards. The OMODA E5 offers a distance of up to 430 KM with the WLTP and 505 KM method with the NEDC method for one battery charge.

With a battery capacity of 61 kWh with a consumption of 15.5 kWh per 100 km, the Chery OMODA E5 is capable of supporting city mobility, high-speed travel, and long-distance travel. Technology on the Chery OMODA E5 also offers outstanding performance with acceleration of 0-100 km/hour in 7.2 seconds.
