Celebrate One Century Birthday, MG Gives Discounts To Its Electric Vehicles In India

JAKARTA - Morris Garage (MG), an British automotive company celebrating his 100th birthday in 2024. To enliven it, the manufacturer made several surprises in several of its lineups.

Mini-sized electric cars such as Comet will be presented with discounted prices for the 100th anniversary celebration. Through India's MG Motor, the company aims to captivate buyers by offering extraordinary things with an exciting experience.

Gaurav Gupta, as Deputy Managing Director of MG Motor India, said this program was realizing its party's commitment to continuing an environmentally friendly ecosystem as well as celebrating the biggest achievement in MG's history.

"As a continuation of our centenary celebration, we are delighted to introduce 2024 as the Year of Fast Forward, to ensure a beneficial ownership experience for all," Gupta said, quoted by RushLane, Saturday, February 3.

Of course this is a bold step from the company, but it is claimed to be effective in accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in the country. MG announced that Comet fell prices from 798,000 to 699,000 rupees (Rp151.2 million to Rp132.4 million).

Not only Comet EV, MG also announced the price of ZS EV Executive in the Indian market with a price tag of 1.8 million rupees or equivalent to Rp359.7 million, positioning this model as an affordable SUV and not containing emissions.

The model offers a spacious cabin space and puts forward luxury and comfort in front and rear seats. The company claims that this variant has a distance of up to 461 km in one charge.
