JAKARTA - The 2024 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) which took place at the Las Vegas Convention Center, USA, from 9 to 12 January 2024, is an event for technology manufacturers to showcase their latest innovations.

One of the technologies that has attracted public attention is the superior technology implemented in the automotive sector.

In the event, Nvidia became one of the companies that attracted public attention. This company from the United States shows off its automotive AI technology that has been adopted by several manufacturers.

Nvidia's AI technology has been in the spotlight at CES 2024. This technology is in demand by various automotive companies because it can provide various benefits, such as increasing safety, efficiency, and driving comfort.

Reporting from Nvidia's official website, Tuesday, January 9, one of the companies adopting Nvidia's AI technology is Mercedes-Benz. The German manufacturer showcased the concept of CLA Class using the Nvidia Drive Orin system, which is an automated driving domain. This system allows cars to drive independently on the highway, even in complex traffic conditions.

In addition, Mercedes-Benz also uses digital twins technology in its production activities. This technology allows companies to create digital replicas from its factories, so that they can be used to design, collaborate, plan, and operate manufacturing and assembly facilities virtually.

Then there is also a Kodiak Robotics startup that adopts Nvidia's AI technology. This autonomous truck development company relies on Nvidia GPU for high-performance computing. This system allows trucks to drive independently on the highway, even in bad weather conditions.

This Swedish manufacturer features Polestar 3 models equipped with Nvidia Drive Orin's central core computer. This computer allows Polestar 3 to have a variety of advanced features, such as autonomous driving systems, entertainment systems, and security systems.
