Mitsubishi Fuso Dominates Sales At The Commercial Car Market In 2024

JAKARTA - PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB) as the official distributor of Mitsubishi Fuso and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) commercial vehicles in Indonesia achieved positive sales achievements throughout 2024.

Based on data from the Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (GAIKINDO) during 2024, Mitsubishi Fuso's sales achieved a market share of 38.1 percent or 27,683 units from January to December 2024.

With this figure, Mitsubishi Fuso managed to maintain its position as the leader of the commercial vehicle market in Indonesia, and showed that it remains a true business mainstay for various industrial segments.

Sales and Marketing Director of PT KTB Aji Jaya, said he was very grateful for the trust that was continuously given to the company, and in 2025 he would celebrate the 55th anniversary of Mitsubishi Fuso's presence in Indonesia.

"It is an extraordinary pride for those of us who continue to be trusted by consumers for more than 5 decades for that we will continue to focus on serving consumers even more optimally," said Aji, in an official statement received on Saturday, January 18.

If in more detail related to sales, the light-duty trucks segment is still the best-selling sales in Mitsubishi Fuso, with a contribution of 53.1 percent of total sales.

Canter, widely known as a tough and reliable commercial vehicle, dominates sales in this segment and the four-tire Canter model becomes the best-selling variant in December 2024. In the medium-duty trading vehicle segment, Fighter X recorded sales of 13.3 percent.

Aji added that KTB will continue to focus on serving consumers in the coming year, and will also improve services by taking into account consumer preferences.

"We will ensure that consumer vehicles can operate optimally without downtime so that joint success is realized," Aji added.
