Mercedes-Benz Axor Logistics Day, DCVI's Commitment To The Logistics Truck Fleet Safety Sector

JAKARTA - Daimler Commercial Vehicles Indonesia (DCVI) continues to be committed to advancing with the Logistics sector in Indonesia, by presenting the best products and full-sale services.

Through the 'Mercedes-Benz Axor Logistics Day' held at Marina Batavia - Sunda Kelapa Port, today, October 24, 2023, DCVI invites consumers in the logistics sector to get the latest information regarding Axor products that have safety features, and comfort for drivers, especially for transportation of goods that continue to move on the main road of the Trans-Java toll road, or Trans-Sumatra.

"DCVI is committed to improving services in the logistics and shipping sectors. We want to participate in Indonesia's progress through product procurement for the increasingly advanced logistics sector, as Indonesia's infrastructure development progresses," said Naeem Hassim, as President Director of DCVI, in an official statement received by VOI, Tuesday, October 24.

At the 'Mercedes-Benz Axor Logistics Day' event, DCVI introduced six new rigid trucks models using medium-sized cabins that are believed to provide more efficient operational performance, namely:

MB Axor 1626 R / 5100 M-CAB (6X2)

MB Axor 1626 R / 6000 M-CAB (6X2)

MB Axor 2526 R /4500 M-CAB (6X2)

MB Axor 2526 R / 5700 M-CAB (6X2)

MB Axor 2528 R / 5700 M-CAB (6X2)

MB Axor 2528 R / 5700 M-CAB (6X4)

In addition to the six new variants, DCVI is also assembling in Indonesia three tracer head models for the needs of the logistics sector which are already trusted by loyal MB Trucks:

MB Axor 4023 T / 3600 (4X2) M / T

MB Axor 4028 T/ 3600 (4x2) M/T

MB Axor 4928 T / 3300 (6X4) M / T

In more detail, the Mercedes-Benz Axor is equipped with an OM 906 LA 256 PS engine which guarantees maximum power achievement, and maximum torque, as well as G85 IGR (Improved Gear Ratio) which guarantees the maintenance of truck strength for uphill terrain.

The combination of the two new technologies carried by six new models of MB Axor resulted in an increase in gradeability in Axor Rigid Truck's new product. Coupled with the existence of the Constant Throttle Valve (CTV) Engine Brake technology which is commonly used in Mercedes-Benz trucks, the safety of users is more secure with higher braking power.

"With the new features we hope not only to present stronger and safer products, but also to be more efficient for longer overheads for operators," explained Faustina, DCVI's Head of Product and Marketing.

So far, DCVI continues to provide the best service for consumers with supervision from the Body Builder Advisors to ensure that the Mercedes-Benz Truck products are built with Daimler Truck standards, as well as Flying Doctors services in case of problems with product use.
