Juventus End Preseason in Australia by Knocking Out Palermo 2-0

JAKARTA - Juventus closed the pre-season match in Australia with a 2-0 victory over fellow Italian club Palermo at the Optus Stadium, Perth, Tuesday local time.

In that match, Juventus managed to beat Palermo thanks to goals created by Kenan Yildiz and Arkadiusz Milik, according to the club's official records.

After that match, Juventus will return to the last trial match in the pre-season ahead of the 2026/2027 competition by facing Juventus Next Gen at the Allianz Stadium, Turin, Monday (17/8) local time.

In the match in Perth, Juventus took the initiative to attack first and had a threat through the combination of Kenan Yildiz and Randal Kolo Muani.

Then it was Francisco Conceicao's turn to create an opportunity for Juventus, but his kick still couldn't break the Palermo net.

Juventus finally broke the deadlock in the 44th minute after Zeki Celik's pass was converted into a goal by Yildiz so that the score became 1-0.

Entering the second half, Kolo Muani again threatened with a header that he missed, but the ball did not go into the Palermo goal.

Edon Zhergova almost brought Juventus to double the lead, but the kick he fired still could be secured by Palermo goalkeeper Jesse Joronen.

Juventus managed to double the lead when the normal time was left four minutes through a goal created by Arkadiusz Milik so that the score changed to 2-0 and the position remained until the end of the match.
