Moses Ituma Told To Challenge Oleksandr Usyk

JAKARTA Young boxer Moses Ituma was encouraged to win undisputed world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk twice.

Ben Davison as the Ituma coach confirmed that he would not detain this young fighter against Usyk if he was indeed an incoming fight offer.

"I will accept it. I think this is a game that is equally profitable," Davison said.

Usyk is currently seen as the best fighter in the heavyweight after becoming the second undisputed heavyweight world champion by beating Daniel Dubois in July 2025.

On the other hand, although Ituma is only 20 years old and has 13 professional matches, it is considered one of the promising prospects in the heavyweight class.

The name Ituma has recently skyrocketed after he managed to knockout (KO) a former heavyweight title challenger for Dillian Whyte in mid-August 2025.

Davison said that the desire to fight Usyk was of course in Ituma's mind. He emphasized that his client would definitely take risks even if it challenged a big name like Usyk.

"Although Moses has not fought fighters like Usyk, I don't think Usyk has ever fought boxers like Moses," he said.

Usyk is most likely just returning to the ring again to undergo a mandatory WBO heavyweight match to maintain his current status.

If he has the desire to undergo the duel then he will face winner Joseph Parker against Fabio Wardley, who will duel in October 2025.
