MilkLife Soccer Challenge Tangerang 2025 Followed By 963 Students

A total of 963 students were registered as participants in the MilkLife Soccer Challenge Tangerang 2025 (doc. MilkLife).

JAKARTA A total of 963 students were recorded as participants in the MilkLife Soccer Challenge Tangerang 2025 which took place on 23-27 April 2025 at the Cisauk Mini Stadium and the Trimatra Kodiklat TNI Serpong Stadium.

The number of contestants came from Elementary Schools (SD) and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) in Tangerang and its surroundings. In addition, several international schools also took part in the event which was initiated by the Djarum Foundation and MilkLife Sports Service.

The MilkLife Soccer Challenge Director, Teddy Tjahjono, assessed that the diversity of participants from various backgrounds automatically creates motivation between schools to prove to be the best.

"So, it is very important that the MilkLife Soccer Challenge needs to be held consistently and sustainably," said Teddy in a statement received.

In addition to the number of participants, the quality and ability of the team and individuals at the MilkLife Soccer Challenge continues to increase. It is hoped that this trend can be maintained so that the players will be able to compete at the international level.

The ability of the player who graduated from the MilkLife Soccer Challenge has recently been proven at the JSSL Singapore 7's 2025 event. At that time the HydroPlus Strikers (U-14) and MilkLifeShakers (U-12) teams both locked the runner-up positions.

"This means that what we've been doing in the past year by capturing and training our best players, it turns out that they can compete with teams from countries in Asia," said Teddy.

The MilkLife Soccer Challenge competition is currently getting more competitive. This is proven to be the champion of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge Tangerang Series 2 2024 in the age group (KU) 12, namely British School Jakarta, having to be willing to lift the suitcase in the group stage.

Assistant head coach of MilkLife Soccer Challenge, Asep Sunarya, admitted that he had pocketed a number of names to take part in the MilkLife Soccer Extra Training after looking at their impressive performance during the competition.

"We appreciate the new team which is quite brilliant in this tournament. It also shows that the competition map at the MilkLife Soccer Challenge is quite tight and not only dominated by one or two teams," said Asep.

Just like the previous edition, the journey of the MilkLife Soccer Challenge 2025 players will not only stop until they become tournament champions, but will again be held the MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars in July 2026.

In addition, there will be advanced tournaments (Series 1 and Series 2) in each city. Then the Djarum Foundation and MilkLife Sports Service also added two new cities in this year's calendar.

Meanwhile, the MilkLife Soccer Challenge Tangerang 2025 was won by British School Jakarta at KU-10 after defeating SDN Pinang 3. Meanwhile, at KU-12, SDN Buaran 01 managed to occupy the highest podium after defeating SDN Jelungang 01 B.
