JAKARTA Indonesia sent a full strength of 19 representatives to the 2025 Badminton Asia Championship (BAC) which will take place in April 2025.

The Central Board of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PP PBSI) officially released the power through their official Instagram account on Monday, March 3, 2025.

The number of athletes was invited in two stages by Badminton Asia. As is known, the BAC implemented an invitation system, similar to the BWF World Championships, based on world rankings as of February 11, 2025 for the Asian region.

In a row, Badminton Asia invited 11 representatives in the first stage and then eight in the second stage so that a total of 19 Indonesian representatives appeared in the 2025 BAC.

Including the Indonesian squad later is the mixed doubles Dejan Ferdinansyah/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti, a couple that has only been united since the beginning of this year.

Women's singles badminton player Ester Nurumi Tri Wardoyo is also on the list after being absent due to fitness. In addition, there are also Gregoria Mariska Tunjung, Putri Kusuma Wardani, and Komang Ayu Cahya Dewi.

Two Indonesian mainstays in the men's singles number, Jonatan Christie and Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, also received invitations in the first stage. Both names are champions in the last two years.

Ginting first won the title at this event in 2023 when it took place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Then, Jonathan did it in last year's edition in Ningbo, China.

The 2025 Asian Badminton Championship (BAC) is scheduled to take place at the Ningbo Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, Ningbo, China, on April 8, 2025.
