JAKARTA - Colombia's National Team player, James Rodrmenguez, has signed a contract with the MX Clausura League club (Mexico League), Leon.
Recently he became a free agent after ending his contract with Rayo Vallecano - who originally signed James in August 2024.
The 33-year-old will now join Leon who will start their journey in Clausura 2025/2025 on January 18, 2025.
"Rayo Vallecano and Club Leon from Mexico have reached an agreement to transfer James Rodriguez," the Spanish club said in a statement.
"From the club, we wish James all the best at his new stage," the club added.
Eight-time Mexican champion Leon uploaded several pictures of Rodriguez on their social media accounts.
