JAKARTA - The police arrested three suspected robbers who stabbed the employee of the National SAR Agency (Basarnas), Mita Nurkhasanah (22), to death. They were arrested after almost two weeks of being fugitives.

"We have secured three of our custodians and one is still this DPO (wanted list) who actually slashed the victim to death", said the Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Yusri Yunus, to reporters on Monday, November 1.

The three suspects, among others, MG, RP, MR were arrested at different locations by a team led by AKP Dimitri Mahendra. They have different roles in the beheading that took place on October 11, then, at Angkasa Street, Gunung Sahari

"Three people with the initials RP alias K were arrested in Tamansari. He played the role of saying 'you did something to my brother' to the victim's girlfriend. The two brothers MG alias P were arrested in Klender. Then MR's brother was arrested in Bogor as a jockey", said Yusri.

Meanwhile, the suspect who is still at large is ADR alias T. He is the suspect who slashed the victim to death.

Even after being investigated, this fugitive was also briefly involved in a similar criminal case. Where the case was handled by the East Jakarta Metro Police.

"The (fugitive) case is also a slashing", said Yusri.

With the suspicion of the three suspects, they are charged with Article 365 of the Criminal Code concerning theft with violence.
