Belundi dance is a dance of togetherness, a strong unity in a tribal unit in Bulungan, where every footstep and hand movement and dancers form a circle describing something that is continuous or never breaks from one another.
The Belundi dance or Pinang Sendawar dance was created by Datu Perdana in the 1940s, the beginning of the Kayan and Malay language poetry, after which it was composed in Bulungan language with the title song "Pinang Sendawar".
