NUNUKAN - A total of 14 Indonesian workers (TKI) who were deported from Malaysia to Nunukan, North Kalimantan were confirmed positive for COVID-19 based on the results of the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR).
The head of the Regional Technical Implementation Unit Center for the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (BP2MI) of Nunukan Regency, AKBP FJ Ginting said, of that number, 3 of them were children, while the remaining 11 were adults.
Ginting added that a total of 193 Indonesian workers were deported from Malaysia to Nunukan. When they arrived at Tunon Taka Nunukan Port on Thursday, October 21, they immediately underwent a PCR test.
