Formula E Location Concealed, Ferdinand Criticizes Anies Baswedan: This Is Called "Transparency On The Sewer"

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has been criticized for not mentioning the new location for Formula E. This electric-powered racing car event was previously scheduled to be held at the National Monument (Monas), Central Jakarta.

One of the criticisms came from the tweet of former Democrat politician, Ferdinand Hutahaean via his Twitter account, @FerdinandHaean3 which was uploaded on Monday, October 11. Ferdinand was surprised why the government of Anies Baswedan did not announce it to the public.

"The difference between lies and honesty. Lies say the place is kept secret while Honesty says the place or location doesn't exist yet," tweeted Ferdinand.

According to Ferdinand, this is not the first time that Anies has not been open to the public about this Formula E event. Previously, Anies was also criticized for not daring to face the Interpellation of Formula E by 2 factions in the DKI DPRD, PDI-P, and PSI.

"Transparency for Anies might mean: "Closed about the budget, not daring to explain the budget openly, diligently overpaying, being silent when asked by reporters and not daring to face Interpellation." I called the name transparency and got lost..!!," Ferdinand.

Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria when confirmed asked the public to wait for an announcement from the BUMD PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) regarding the certainty of the location of the electric car racing event.

"Just wait for the venue. Anyway, Jakpro will announce it later," said Riza at DKI City Hall, Central Jakarta, Thursday, September 30.

Riza said that there were 5 alternative locations for the holding of Formula E, which were prepared by PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) to the Youth and Sports Office (Dispora). However, Riza did not want to go into details, even though two of them had been thrown out, namely in Senayan and the reclaimed island (Pantai Kita Maju Bersama).

"We will wait, yes, it is being coordinated from the Formula E party that will come later, to ensure which is the best of the alternative options available," said Riza.
