Good News! COVID-19 Patients Treated At Wisma Atlet Decreased To 245

JAKARTA - Good news came from the COVID-19 Special Emergency Hospital (RSDC) Wisma Atlet Kemayoran. The number of patients being treated here has again decreased compared to last Wednesday.

Head of Information for the Joint Regional Defense Command (Kogabwilhan) I Marine Colonel Aris Mudian explained that seven people had been declared cured.

"Inpatients who were confirmed positive (COVID-19) in Towers 4, 5, 6, and 7 were 245 people, while the original number (one day earlier) was 252 people. There was a reduction of seven inpatients," Aris said, Thursday, October 7, quoted from Antara.

From March 23 2020 to October 7 2021, 128,261 patients were referred to the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital. Of that number, 126,382 COVID-19 patients recovered and were discharged from the hospital, while 1,038 patients were referred to other hospitals.

Sadly, 596 patients died at the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital as of October 7, 2021.

Meanwhile, the development of the situation at the Galang Island Special Hospital for Infection (RSKI), Batam, Riau Islands, the number of inpatients as of Thursday, as many as 281 people.

"There are 281 inpatients, of which 169 are men and 112 are women. The 281 patients were all confirmed positive for COVID-19," said Aris as quoted from his written statement.

The head of information for Kogabwilhan I TNI noted that in the last 24 hours the number of inpatients at the Galang Island Hospital has decreased by five people.

"As of October 7, 2021, there were 281 inpatients, originally (one day earlier) 286 people," he asserted.

From 12 April 2020 to 7 October 2021, the Galang Island Hospital received a total of 16,810 patients. Of that number, 16,486 patients have finished undergoing isolation, and 42 patients have been referred to other hospitals, said Marine Colonel Aris Mudian.

RSKI Galang Island reported that until October 7, 2021, one patient died due to COVID-19.
