PDIP Value Of Public Infrastructure and Facilities During The Anies Era Is More Lazy Than The Ahok Era

JAKARTA - The chairman of Commission D of the DKI Regional House of Representatives from the PDIP faction, Ida Maheasy, considers the performance of the Public Infrastructure and Facilities (PPSU) officers to be lazy.

Ida considers that the performance of the Orange Troops when Anies Baswedan led Jakarta was not like the PPSU when Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) was governor of DKI.

"The work of PPSU in the past is very different from the current period. I'm not praising Mr. Jokowi or Mr. Ahok or what", Ida said in a meeting at the DKI Regional House of Representatives Building, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, October 5.

In front of the Assistant for Development and Environment of the Regional Secretary of DKI Jakarta Province, Afan Adriansyah Idris, Ida gave an example of the conditions when she saw PPSU work in the Sunter area, North Jakarta.

"In the past, at 7 o'clock they were already busy at work. Today, if you want to know, you don't have to go far. At Sunter Lake, they all hang out along the edge of the lake. Not working", said Ida.

Therefore, Ida asked Afan that some PPSU personnel be transferred to other Regional Work Units (SKPD) that require additional personnel.

To PPSU who are lazy to work, Ida asked the DKI Provincial Government to terminate the contract of the other Individual Service Provider (PJLP).

"If indeed they do not meet the requirements or are lazy, the contract must be terminated, so just break up. We have to be honest the financing for this PJLP or PPSU is very high", she said.

As is known, PPSU has been actively working since 2016 and is spread across various urban villages in Jakarta. Their task is to oversee public facilities and infrastructure in each region, such as clogged sewers, community environmental management, or street lighting facilities that are not working.
