Wearing A White Shirt With A Noken, Jokowi 'Caught' Stopped At A Trader, Eating Boiled Corn

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) never loses a moment close to the people in every visit. Instead of being closely guarded by Paspampres without stopping, Jokowi did not hesitate to approach the people and share stories with them.

Just like the opening of the XX National Sports Week (PON) in Papua, Saturday, October 2 last night. Unexpectedly, Jokowi stepped out of the sports arena and played with several Papuan youths, including soccer legend Jack Komboy.

Jokowi wore a white shirt with a noken circled around his body. Seen on the Presidential Secretariat's Youtube channel, Jokowi immediately ate boiled corn.

For information, the XX PON in Paua was opened directly by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at the Lukas Enember Stadium, Jayapura, Papua, Saturday, October 2. In his speech, Jokowi greeted Papuans in the Sentani language.

"This Sports Week illustrates the progress of Papua, showing the readiness of the Papuan people's infrastructure in holding big events to achieve national and international achievements," said the former Governor of DKI Jakarta.
