Suspected When They Want To Take Action, Jambret Specialist In West Jakarta Is Successfully Arrested By The Police

JAKARTA – AK alias Duck (28) was arrested by police officers while carrying out a mugging action on Jalan Kali Besar, Tambora, West Jakarta. The Head of the Tambora Polsek of the West Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Moh Faruk Rozi, confirmed the arrest of the robber. According to him, the perpetrator is a jambret specialist.

"AK alias Duck (28) was successfully secured by buser members during the Kring Serse operation," Faruk told reporters in Jakarta, Thursday, September 30.

Faruk continued, his members succeeded in arresting the perpetrators starting from the results of his team's evaluation while patrolling the jurisdiction of the Tambora Police. Especially on Jalan Kali Besar, Kelurahan Roa Malaka, where street crimes often occur.

Previously, on Sunday, September 26, at around 07.40 WI around Kalibesar street in front of the Mercure Hotel, members of the Criminal Investigation and Narcotics Buser saw a motorcycle rider riding without a license plate with suspicious movements.

On the suspicion, the officers then followed. Not long after, the perpetrator grabbed one of the victims who was passing by. However, the perpetrator's efforts were unsuccessful and fled on his motorbike. But unfortunately, while trying to escape, the perpetrator fell from his motorcycle.

"At that time, members of the Tambora Police Buser managed to secure Ak alias Duck, but his colleague SL managed to escape," said Faruk.

When secured by officers, the perpetrator admitted that he had often snatched away with his colleagues who had fled in the Tambora jurisdiction.
