IDR 1 Trillion Will Be Sued Due To Dismissal Of Viani Limardi, PSI: Sis Viani's Rights As Citizens

JAKARTA - The chairman of the Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI) Central Executive Board, Isyana Bagoes Oka, responded to Viani Limardi's plan to sue PSI for IDR 1 trillion. PSI will be sued for firing Viani from its cadre membership.

Isyana said she would welcome the DKI Jakarta Regional House of Representatives member to file a lawsuit against her party.

"If it is true that Sis Viani will sue PSI for IDR 1 trillion as reported by many media, then that attitude is Sis Viani's right as a citizen", said Isyana in a statement, Thursday, September 30.

Isyana claimed that the party's internal mechanisms and procedures, before finally deciding to dismiss Viani, had been carried out in an orderly and objective manner, including asking Viani for information.

"The decision to dismiss is based on objectivity, not the subjectivity of personal likes or dislikes. This is part of the results of PSI's evaluation of all Regional House of Representatives members by the party's internal mechanism", said Isyana.

Previously, Viani Limardi admitted that he would sue PSI through legal channels because he was fired from party cadres and members of the DKI Regional House of Representatives. Viani plans to sue PSI with a value of IDR 1 trillion.

"This time I will not remain silent and I will fight and sue PSI for IDR 1 trillion", said Viani

The plan to file this lawsuit was made because she felt that the reason for PSI's dismissal was not true. Viani denied that she had inflated her recess funds while he was a member of the council. This accusation made him fired as a cadre.

"None at all did I inflate the recess funds, it was a very rotten slander and aimed to kill my character", said Viani.

It is known, in the letter of dismissal of PSI's Central Executive Board (DPP), it was stated that Viani often inflated recess funds of up to IDR 302 million for 16 recess points.

Viani clarified that she had completed 16 recesses and returned the recess funds of around IDR 70 million to the Secretariat of the DKI Regional House of Representatives.

"Not only in March 2021, almost every time I have a recess, but I also return the rest of the unused recess budget. Please check with the Regional House of Representatives and Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia. So where is the inflation?", she said.
