Despite Participating In Fighting In Two Legislative Camps Regarding Interpellation, PAN Is Aware Of The Loss Of DKI Residents

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the DKI DPRD from the PAN faction, Zita Anjani, admitted that Jakarta is experiencing political dynamics regarding the Interpellation of Formula E made by two camps of the DKI DPRD (Regional House of Representatives).

The first camp is the two factions namely PDIP and PSI who support the interpellation of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan. Meanwhile, the second camp consists of seven factions namely Gerindra, PKS, Golkar, Nasdem, Democrats, PAN, and PPP-PKB which reject the interpellation.

Zita admitted that her party was involved in the feud between the two camps. She also realized that the commotion of the two parliamentary camps was detrimental to the citizens of the capital.

"The PAN faction and I are part of the opposition to the interpellation. Of course, in our view, the noise that has occurred these days, of course, we regret because it is detrimental to the residents of DKI", Zita said in a statement, Wednesday, September 29.

Then, the seven factions considered the plenary session of the interpellation held yesterday to be illegal because the schedule was suddenly fixed. This has led seven factions to state that they will not attend the plenary meeting.

Meanwhile, the two factions consider the statement of the position of the seven factions illegal because it was not submitted in the official forum, namely the plenary session.

Seeing this continuing commotion, Zita admitted that her party would resolve the problem internally. This was done by reporting to the Chairman of the DKI DPRD from the PDIP faction, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi to the DPRD Honorary Board.

"This activity, one considers it legal, the other considers it illegal, we from 7 factions reported it to the Honorary Board and later let us finish it internally, without us making noise and making noise", she said.

From the start, Zita emphasized that her party had consistently refused interpellation as the right to ask Anies about the plan to organize Formula E. Because, Zita said, the initial discussion and budgeting of Formula E had been agreed between the DKI Provincial Government and the DKI DPRD.

"We took a stance that from the beginning we were consistent in rejecting this interpellation because this has been agreed, approved, and has become a long and long discussion, and has been agreed upon by the DKI Provincial Government and the legislature", she concluded.
