Viral, Christians In Afghanistan Are Tied In Plastic Half Naked, Is It True?

JAKARTA - The upload of a Facebook account video with the name @Classic Bae has attracted the attention of netizens. The video shows several people tied up in plastic.

The video narration says that those tied in plastic are Christians in Afghanistan. So, is this information true?

"Based on the search results, the video is not a video of Christians tied up in Afghanistan, but a video of Colombians protesting against the government in May 2021," wrote turnbackhoax published Thursday, September 23.

A similar video was uploaded by the Facebook page 'Lo Que La Prensa Corrupta No Transmite' on May 28, 2021. The demonstrators were half naked while in plastic.

Turnbackhoax notes, a similar video has also been circulated with a narration stating that the video is a video handling COVID-19 in Indonesia.

An article on this topic has been published on the turnbackhoax.id site with the article title "[FALSE] Video "Covid management in Indonesia which was uploaded on July 24, 2021."

"Thus, the narration uploaded by the Facebook account with the username @Classic Bae can be categorized as False Context," said turnbackhoax.
