Ganjar Invites Experts To Join The Central Java Research And Innovation Agency

JAKARTA - If all goes well, Central Java Province will be the first province to have the Regional National Research and Innovation Agency (Brinda). Later, Brinda will not only be filled from Civil Service Servants (ASN).

"We agree with that. For human resources, apart from filling our own human resources, we can partner with universities or other research institutions. There are many innovators and researchers out there, we can invite non-ASN to fill this institution", said Ganjar, Thursday, September 16.

However, Ganjar continued, this cannot be done quickly. The most important principle at this time is to form the institution first so that it can immediately contribute.

"We will start step by step, for example, we will transplant the institutions first. It's a kind of Technical implementation Unit (UPT). If it's already running, then we can improve it again with a new Organizational Structure and Work Procedure (SOTK), in the same class as other Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD)", he explained.

The Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, admitted that he had gathered doctors and functional officials who were experts in Central Java to fill the institution. They have made presentations on many things, including politics on health, education, environment, energy, and other sectors.

"This is an initial warm-up that parallels the establishment of the Central Brin. The Central Brin has also paid attention, I have communicated and they are ready to advocate and assist", he explained.

Ganjar gave his appreciation to the Regional Representative Council (DPRD) for supporting this discussion. If so, Central Java will be the first province in the republic to have a Research and Innovation Agency.

A number of inputs have been submitted by the Central Java DPRD to the provincial government regarding the formation of Brinda. Ganjar himself admitted that he had long dreamed of having Brinda in Central Java. For this reason, he currently wants to create the institution faster than other regions.

"I think we really want to go faster because it's really important. This is a concern for many people, but not many have done it. So I ask Central Java to come first while we learn and improve if something is missing", he concluded.
