Hersubeno Arief's Narrative About Megawati Called Journalistic Work, PDIP: Leading Opinions

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the DKI PDIP Fraction, Ronny Talapess, stated that the narrative spoken by Hersubeno Arief about Megawati Soekarnoputri in a coma was not a journalistic work. Because the context reported is not a video but a statement that is 1,000 percent valid.

"I only focus on Hersubeno's talk, not the whole content. He said that he got a message from his friend that Mega in the ICU is 1,000 percent valid", said Ronny to VOI, Thursday, September 16.

So, with the narrative, it is considered that it will form an opinion in the community if Megawati Soekarnoputri is really in a serious condition. In fact, what actually happened was the opposite.

"It makes you believe. So it's a form of opinion", said Ronny.

Later, in the ongoing legal process, the police will determine whether or not there has been a criminal violation. Although, Hersubeno Arief and the Forum News Network (FNN) stated firmly that there was no spread of lying women.

"We object because of the opinion", said Ronny.

Hersubeno Arief was reported by the Regional Representative Council of PDIP Jakarta to the Metro Jaya Police. The report was registered with the number LP/B/4565/IX/2021/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA.

Shortly after reporting, the Editor-in-Chief (Pemred) of FNN, Mangarahon Dongaran responded. He called the report the wrong address. This is because the narrative presented by Hersubeno Arief as an FNN journalist does not contain elements of false news or hoaxes.

"Overall the content entitled The Chairman of PDIP Megawati Reportedly Coma and being treated at the Pertamina Hospital which was uploaded on Thursday, September 9, 2021, with a duration of 12.43 minutes, does not contain any hoax elements at all", said Mangarahon.
