New Facts About Suspected Terrorist In Bekasi, Has Worked At State-Owned Enterprise Kimia Farma And Becomes A Fundraiser

JAKARTA - Densus 88 Anti-terror stated that the suspected terrorist with the initials S alias MT had become a member of the fundraising alias Perisai Nusantara Esa in 2018. Perisai is the wing of the Jamaah Islamiyah organization in the field of advocacy.

"The suspect S alias MT was a member of the fundraising Perisai in 2018," said Head of Banops Densus 88 Grand Commissioner Aswin in his statement, Monday, September 13.

S alias MT was also revealed to be an employee of the Kimia Farma BUMN. Currently, S has been deactivated and is in danger of being fired by Kimia Farma if found guilty.

S is said to have a fundraising role for the JI network. In 2020 S had become the builder of the Perisai Nusantara Esa. He is also a member of Tholiah Jabodetabek.

"Tholiah is in the field of securing people and assets belonging to JI. A member of Tholiah Jabodetabek during Hari's leadership," said Aswin.

Previously, the National Police's Anti-terror Detachment 88 Team again arrested four suspected terrorists in different locations on Friday, September 10. Allegedly, these four people are members of the terrorist network Jemaah Islamiyah (JI). They include, S, MEK, SH, and AR.

For suspected terrorists, MEK has a much bigger role. He had served as chairman of the board and director.

Then, the suspected terrorist SH, who not only acted as an advisor or the Shura Council in the Jamaah Islamiyah network. Because, he was also a member of the builder of the Perisai in 2017.

SH also had time to attend military training. However, it was not specified when he was involved in the training.

"I have participated in military exercises in Moro, Southern Philippines," said Aswin.

Then the last one with the initials AR. He was arrested in 2004 for hiding AG alias M, a suspect in the 2000 Christmas bombing.
