27 Offenders For Pavement Fasum Undergo Trial, The Amount Of Fines Collected Is Rp. 8,250,000

JAKARTA - Dozens of violators of public facilities (fasum) in Jakarta received minor criminal sanctions or Tipiring from Satpol PP officers. Although only Tipiring, the violators were forced to deal with the court.

A total of 27 violators of the DKI Jakarta Regional Regulation (Perda) Number 8 of 2007 concerning public order began to undergo trial for minor crimes (Tipiring) at the Central Jakarta District Court.

The trial was held on Friday, September 10 at the Central Jakarta District Court and was chaired by the Bintang AL Panel of Judges, Registrar Saiful Hadiyanto and from the Prosecutor's Office.

Head of the Central Jakarta Civil Service Police Unit (Kasatpol PP), Bernard Tambunan, confirmed the trial of 27 violators. Merela is scheduled to undergo trial today. However, there were 5 violators who were not present at this trial.

"They all violated DKI Jakarta Regional Regulation No. 8 of 2007. The violators were arrested in a number of sub-districts in Central Jakarta," said Bernard when contacted by VOI, Friday, September 10.

The violators who underwent trial were charged with violating the sidewalk vandalism and selling on the sidewalk and placing goods on the sidewalk.

"There was 1 violator who damaged the sidewalk, 23 trade violators on the sidewalk and 3 violators placed goods on the sidewalk," he said.

The total amount of fines collected from the trial amounted to Rp. 8,250,000.

"The biggest violation of the fine is dredging the sidewalk in the amount of Rp 5 million," he said.
