Police Do Not Check Muhammad Kece's Mental Health, The Examination Is Running Normally

JAKARTA - Investigators from the Directorate of Cyber Crime (Dittipidsiber) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police have decided not to conduct a psychological test on Muhammad Kasman aka Muhammad Kece. The reason is that his mental state is considered good because the examination is running normally.

"Until now, investigators see that there is no need for a psychiatrist", said Head of Public Information Bureau of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono to reporters, Thursday, August 26.

Muhammad Kece's mental condition that looks normal can be judged from the examination process. Kece answered investigators' questions like any other suspect.

"Meanwhile, investigators see something normal. The examination is running normally as usual", said Rusdi.

Meanwhile, the motive behind the alleged blasphemy case is still being investigated. The investigation of the suspect is still ongoing.

"(The motive) is still being investigated. This will be revealed later, we are all sure that later investigators will be able to uncover the motive in question for making video content and posting it on the Youtube channel", said Rusdi.

Muhammad Kece was arrested in his hiding place in Banjar Untal-Untal, Dulang Village, North Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali Province. He was alone in the hiding place.

Currently, Muhammad Kece has been detained in the state detention center of the Criminal Investigation Police of the Indonesian National Police. He was temporarily detained for the next 20 days or until September 13.

There was even a statement that was considered blasphemy when Muhammad Kece uploaded a video on his YouTube account. Where he inserts the word 'Jesus' in the Muslim greeting sentence

"Assalamualaikum, warrahmatuyesus wabarakatu", said Muhammad Kece.

In addition, he also changed several other sentences. Thus, Muhammad Kece was criticized by various parties.

"Alhamdulillah, jesus hirabbilalamin, all praise is due to the presence of the Lord Jesus, the father in heaven who deserves to be praised and worshiped", said Muhammad Kece.
