Cases Of Deviations In The Budget For Construction Of North Lombok Hospital, Losing The State More Than Rp1 Billion

JAKARTA - The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) High Prosecutor's Office stated that the potential state losses in the case of alleged deviations from the 2019 project budget at the North Lombok Regional General Hospital (RSUD) rose to more than Rp1 billion.

The Head of the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Tomo Sitepu, said in Mataram on Monday that the potential loss to the state, which amounted to more than Rp1 billion, arose in the construction of the project to add an operating room, emergency room, and ICU.

"Yes, it's about that. But we haven't received all of the audit results," Tomo said as quoted by Antara, Monday, August 23.

According to his information, the biggest loss came from the project to add an operating room and an ICU. The potential loss to the state reaches Rp1 billion. Meanwhile, the potential loss from the additional emergency room project is Rp249 million.

With this information, investigators have not been able to take definite steps. However, Tomo again revealed that his party was still waiting for the official audit result document from the NTB Representative Office of the BPKP.

"Later, after the audit results come out, we will determine the next steps, including that (determination of suspects)," he said.

From the search for information, the project to add operating room and ICU was carried out by PT. Apro Megatama. The value of the work reached Rp6.4 billion. Allegations of corruption arose because the process was delayed and resulted in a fine.

Then the project for the addition of the emergency room space by PT. Batara Guru Group, the value is Rp5.1 billion. Allegations of corruption emerged after the government terminated the project contract in the middle of the construction progress.
