Many Don't Wear Masks, Traders And Buyers At Mukomuko Market Reprimanded By Police Officers

MUKOMUKO – A number of traders and buyers at the traditional market of Koto Jaya Village, Mukomuko City District received a warning from the Mukomuko Resort Police, Bengkulu Police. They, the traders and buyers, violated the health protocol (prokes).

"Personnel gave warnings to some sellers and buyers who did not wear masks," said Mukomuko Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Adjutant Witdiardi quoting Antara, Sunday, August 22.

A number of personnel from the Samapta Unit of the Mukomuko Police held a patrol at the traditional market of Koto Jaya Village to convey socialization to traders and buyers to comply with the health protocol for preventing the new type of coronavirus.

He said his personnel found some traders and buyers at traditional markets in the district capital area who did not comply with health protocols, such as wearing masks to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Furthermore, they are asked to wear masks every time they do activities outside the home, especially in crowded places such as this traditional market.

He said sector police personnel spread across a number of sub-districts in this area routinely disseminate health protocols to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in the area.

Sector police personnel provide socialization to the community in Teras Terunjam Sub-district, Ipuh District, Kota Praja Village, Air Manjuto District regarding their compliance with implementing health protocol.

The personnel also disseminated the rules regarding the enforcement of health protocol disciplines and sanctions against anyone who violates them.

He said this area already has Regional Regulation Number 5 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Discipline and Law Enforcement of Health Protocols to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19 in this area.

The Mukomuko Regency COVID-19 Handling Task Force has imposed this regulation to prevent the transmission of the coronavirus.
