Alleged Overload, 8 Women Stuck In The Lift Of Kelapa Gading Beauty Clinic

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service managed to evacuate 8 people who were trapped in an elevator at the Beauty Clinic on Mandiri Tengah street, east Kelapa Gading, Sunday, August 22. Allegedly the elevator is overloaded.

Public Relations of the DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service, Mulat Wijayanto, said this information was reported by residents. Officers immediately went to the location to carry out the rescue.

"For the time being, it is suspected that the cause of the elevator crash was due to an overload," Mulat explained in a written statement received in Jakarta.

Regarding the chronology, Mulat could not convey it yet. However, from this incident, 3 people were reported to have fainted and were being treated at the nearest Public Health Center.

"There were 8 victims and they were successfully evacuated by the firefighters. Three of them were in a state of unconsciousness, and were referred to the Public Health Center. For the chronology, we have not received it yet.

The following are the names of the victims trapped in the elevator, Ajeng (22), Eriana (21), Indri (21), Trisya (20), Diana (23) Astin (20), Mia (21), Erlina (22) fainted.
