DENPASAR - An aircraft workshop that adopts environmentally friendly technology has started operating in the I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport area, Badung Regency, Bali, which is the result of collaboration between FL Technics Indonesia and Angkasa Pura Property.

The adoption of environmentally friendly technology includes a spacer 88600 NG motorcycle which is a Towbarless Aircraft Pushback Tug engine without emissions.
The engines are used for the transfer of cranes and thrust (towing and pushback) with high precision.
Mototok Spacer8600 NG uses an AC 96V electric motor, charging the battery in just three hours, supporting up to 30 timespushbackper charging.
The engine has a maximum thrust of 105 tons and a front wheel load capacity of up to 11 tons so that it is suitable for Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 aircraft.
The tool also features a remote control system, integrated display, internet-based performance monitoring (IoT interface), and protection against operational errors that allow the team to work more easily, precisionly and effectively.
The aircraft maintenance, repair and inspection (MRO) facility stands on an area of 17,000 square meters capable of serving the maintenance of six medium-bodied aircraft at once, with a main focus on serving the types of Boeing and Airbus.
The fence can provide fast service to aircraft repair needs that experience sudden technical problems, so as to minimize the time the aircraft failed to operate.
Meanwhile, President Director of PT Angkasa Pura Properti (APP) Ristiyanto Eko Wibowo added that the hangar facility was the first to open at Ngurah Rai Airport for MRO services.
There is also the first MRO FL Technics Indonesia facility at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten and has been operating since 2016, on an area of 20,000 square meters.
He hopes that the presence of these facilities can work on the potential market of the MRO and become the center for Asia Pacific and Australia, as many international airlines from the region serve the Bali route.
