Toyota Releases Last Edition Of GR Supra, Only 300 Units Available

JAKARTA - Toyota recently launched a special edition of the GR Supra A90 Final Edition model. This model has a number of different changes compared to its standard version.

According to the manufacturer in his statement, Friday, November 29, GR Supra A90 Final Edition as proof that the model will end production.

"Although Supra's current production is planned to end with Supra 'A90 Final Edition' as its peak model, Toyota Gazoo Racing will continue to hone Supra through motorsport activities in the future," Toyota wrote.

GR Supra A90 Final Edition was upgraded by the Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) division to become more aerodynamic and light based on the company's knowledge in the development of GR Supra GT4.

In addition, this car has a more aggressive and assertive appearance with the use of Arab black rims. The 19-inch wheel in front of the 20-inch front is wrapped in the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires which are claimed to be 10 percent wider than the regular version.

GR Supra A90 Final Edition has a carbon fiber front spoiler, front bathroom, and front center cover combined with the back wing of the self-neck inspired by the GR Supra GT4 racing car.

Then, the manufacturer also presents an additional carbon fiber hood channel equipped with a hood duct that has the ability to improve cooling performance when released.

The interior is presented more sporty with full-bucket carbon fiber Recaro Podium CF with Alcantara-coated seats that support more accurate driving and can prevent drivers from G-Force.

In addition, the driver's seat was given a red color to highlight the driver-oriented cockpit design.

Then, steering wheel, door trim, middle console knee pads, middle handbands, knob boot shifts, and the center of the instrument panel is coated with Alcantara. Also presented are red belt seats and exclusive plate slabs that add to the aggressive impression on the model.

Also presented is a KW branded suspension that can be adjusted for the damping, equipped with 16 rebound stages and 12 compression stages to accommodate various driving conditions.

Speaking of performance, this well-known manufacturer maintains a 3.0 liter 6-cylinder engine but optimizes its energy so that it increases the output from 387 ps to 435 ps with torques from 500 Nm to 570 Nm.

Toyota has not disclosed the price of the A90 Final Edition, but it is confirmed that its units are present in a limited number of only 300 units. The cars will be available in Japan and Europe and will be sold starting next spring.
