JAKARTA - Spokesperson for the COVID-19 Data and Information Center (Pusdatina) of Central Sulawesi (Sulteng) Province, Moh. Haris Kariming stated that the number of COVID-19 patients in the local area who recovered on Saturday (21/8) increased by 577, bringing the total to 28,203 people.

"Today, 577 COVID-19 patients have been declared cured based on the results of the latest swab test, bringing the cumulative total of recovered COVID-19 patients in Central Sulawesi to 28,203," he said in Palu City, quoted from Antara, Saturday, August 21.

Then 16 people in Banggai Islands, 13 people in Donggala, and nine people in Touna. Cumulatively to date, 38,892 people have been confirmed to have been exposed to COVID-19.
