After Dropping Friends, Youth In Banyuwangi Lost, Boat Found In Teluk Hijau

BANYUWANGI - Eko Prasetyo (19), from Rajegwesi, Banyuwangi, mysteriously disappeared after dropping off two of his colleagues in the Baduk Beach area.

At that time, Eko, after dropping off two of his colleagues, Ateng and Icuk, installed FADs in the Baduk beach area.

Eko then said goodbye to refuel the ship which was running out.

"The victim said goodbye to refilling his fuel and two of his co-workers were staying above the FADs", said the Banyuwangi Basarnas (National Search and Rescue Agency) Post Coordinator, Wahyu Setya Budi, Monday, August 16.

According to the victim's colleague, Eko should have looked for fuel to the Rajegwesi beach. Instead, he steered his ship towards the coast of Teluk Hijau. Several hours of waiting, Eko never returned.

"Two of his colleagues reported and asked for help when a boat passed by", he said.

Meanwhile, the boat driven by Eko was found undamaged on a rock in the Teluk Hijau area.

Until now the victim has not been found and is still being searched by the community and Basarnas.
