23 Neighborhoods In Medan City Isolated

MEDAN - The Medan City COVID-19 Handling Task Force detailed 23 isolated neighborhoods in the capital city of North Sumatra. Environmental isolation was carried out due to exposure to the coronavirus.

"We have carried out environmental isolation from July 30 to August 10, 2021, in 23 neighborhoods in nine sub-districts," explained Medan City COVID-19 Task Force Coordinator, Arjuna Sembiring, quoted by Antara, Saturday, August 14.

The 23 neighborhoods consist of neighborhoods 6, 7, 9 East Helvetia Village, neighborhoods 2, 17, 22 Central Helvetia, neighborhoods 8 Cinta Damai, and neighborhoods 3 Tanjung Gusta in Medan Helvetia.

Then neighborhood 11 Simpang Selayang and neighborhood 23 Mangga in Medan Tuntungan, neighborhood 7 Bantan Timur in Medan Tembung, and neighborhood 3, 6 Sukapeace in Medan Polonia.

Neighborhood 13 Pangkalan Mansyur and neighborhood 6 in Medan Johor, neighborhood 5, 7 Pandau Hulu in Medan Area, neighborhood 11 Gang Buntu, and neighborhood 6 Pulo Brayan Darat II in East Medan.

"There are 17 Binjai neighborhoods and 13 Tegal Sari Mandala III neighborhoods in Medan Denai, 7 Martubung neighborhoods, and 9 Tangkahan neighborhoods in Medan Labuhan," he said.

He said the Medan City Government has always emphasized the importance of good coordination in the field in implementing environmental isolation.

"As of today, the number of confirmed COVID-19 patients is 35,560 or an increase of 473 people, of whom 24,493 recovered, 10,339 were treated and 728 died," said Arjuna.
