1,678 COVID-19 Patients Still Undergoing Hospitalization At Wisma Atlet

JAKARTA - A total of 1,678 patients who were confirmed positive for COVID-19 at the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran COVID-19 Emergency Hospital, Central Jakarta are currently still undergoing treatment or inpatient care.

"All confirmed positive patients are being treated at Towers Four, Five, Six, and Seven with details of 846 male and 832 female patients", said Head of Information for the Joint Regional Defense Command I, Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, in a written statement received in Jakarta, reported by Antara, Wednesday, August 11.

He said the number was reduced by 58 patients from the previous data of 1,736 people. Overall, the number of recovered patients at Wisma Atlet has reached 121,294.

Then, 984 patients were referred to other hospitals, and 584 people died. The patient recapitulation at Towers Four, Five, Six, and Seven is effective from 23 March 2020 to 11 August 2021 at 08.00 WIB.

In more detail, there were 124,540 registered people and 122,862 patients discharged from the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital during the period from March 23 to August 11, 2021.

In addition, TNI Colonel Aris Murdian conveyed the progress of COVID-19 patients at Wisma Atlet Pademangan.

For Wisma Atlet Pademangan, the number of inpatients is 5,840 people, with details of 2,387 male patients and 3,453 female patients. All patients are hospitalized in Towers Eight, Nine, and Ten.

Then, for the development of COVID-19 patients at the Galang Island Special Hospital for Infection (RSKI), the number of inpatients was 204 people, all of whom were confirmed positive for COVID-19.

From April 12, 2020, to August 11, 2021, the Galang Island Hospital recorded 15,389 people, and 15,185 patients returned home with details of referring 42 people, recovering 7,846, and completing treatment for 7,297 people.
