After Being Questioned By The KPK, M Taufik Admits That He Knows The Director Of PT ABAM, Rudi Hartono Iskandar, A Corruption Suspect

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the DKI Jakarta Regional House of Representatives, M Taufik, admitted that he knew the Director of PT Aldira Berkah Abadi Makmur (ABAM), Rudi Hartono Iskandar, who was a suspect in the alleged corruption case in land acquisition in Munjul, Pondok Ranggon, Jakarta. However, he denied any communication related to land acquisition which led to allegations of corruption.

This confession was conveyed by Gerindra Party politician, M Taufik, after being questioned by KPK (Corruption Eradication Commission) investigators as a witness for the suspect Yoory Corneles, who was the former President Director of Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya.

"I know Mr. Rudi. (However, red) I don't know (land acquisition, ed) in Munjul. I knew Munjul when he was handled by the KPK", Taufik said after being questioned at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, August 10.

Taufik explained that he was being questioned for 5 suspects in this alleged procurement corruption case. So the inspection took a long time.

"The BAP (police investigation report) is 10 bundles for 5 suspects at once. So it takes a long time", said Taufik.

He admitted that he knew nothing about the alleged corruption. This is because the DKI Jakarta Regional House of Representatives budget agency discusses the overall budget proposal.

The use of this budget, he continued, was handed over to Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD).

"Budget Agency sets out proposals, proposals from all units are only in the form of logs. For example, example, IDR 1 trillion is for PMD (Village Community Empowerment). What kind of shopping technique is the responsibility of each BUMD", he explained.

Taufik also said that the Budget Agency for DKI Regional House of Representatives did not have any suspicions. Moreover, if in the end this money is used as banknotes by the suspects.

"No, not (suspicious, ed). Because it is according to the proposal. If it is proud, it is according to the proposal. Right, PMD is like this, before being proposed to the Regional House of Representatives the assessment team has finalized it", he said.

As previously reported, the KPK is currently investigating the process of managing the DKI Jakarta Regional Budget after there were allegations of inappropriate budget allocations in the land acquisition process in Munjul, Pondok Ranggon.

In this case, the anti-corruption commission has named four suspects in this case, namely the Director and Deputy Director of PT Adonara Propertindo, namely Tommy Adrian and Anja Runtuwene, former President Director of Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya Yoory Corneles, and Director of PT Aldira Berkah Abadi Makmur (ABAM) Rudy Hartono Iskandar. In addition, the KPK has also named PT Adonara Propertindo as a suspect in corporate corruption.

This allegation of corruption occurred when Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya, which is a BUMD in the property sector, sought land in the Jakarta area to be used as a business unit or land bank. Furthermore, this regionally owned company cooperates with PT Adonara Propertindo which is also engaged in the same field.

As a result of this case, the state lost up to IDR 152.5 billion. The suspects allegedly used this money to finance their personal needs.
