Bali Inspectorate Forms Team To Examine Alleged Waste Of Mask Procurement Budget At The Bali Health Office

DENPASAR - The Bali Provincial Government ordered the inspectorate to form a team to examine the alleged waste of the mask procurement budget at the Bali Health Service (Dinkes).

"The Secretary of State has assigned the Bali Provincial Inspector in accordance with his authority to immediately conduct an investigation regarding this matter", said Head of the Communication, Information and Statistics Agency, Gede Pramana in Denpasar, Bali, Monday, August 9.

According to him, the Inspectorate of the authorized party is following up on information on the alleged waste of the mask procurement budget.

"Immediately after being examined, the results of the examination will be reported", he said.

Meanwhile, Bali Provincial Inspector I Wayan Sugiada separately said that his party had formed an audit team to examine allegations of budget wastage through Assignment Order Number 8371 of 2021 which was issued on August 9.

The audit team, which consists of 10 people, has directly carried out an audit for the procurement of medical equipment for other material purchases or surgical masks sourced from the regional budget (APBD) and the 2021 General Allocation Fund.

"The team has been working from today according to the date the letter was issued, until August 31, 2021", he concluded.

As is known, previously there was news circulating about allegations of inappropriate procedures leading to budget wastage in the process of procuring masks at the Bali Health Service.
