7000 Out Of 9000 Students Have Not Been Vaccinated, Matraman District Pursue Target

JAKARTA – Thousands of students in Matraman, East Jakarta, have not been vaccinated against COVID-19. This was conveyed by the Head of Matraman Andriansyah on the sidelines of vaccination at Balai Pustaka Building, Matraman, East Jakarta, Tuesday, July 03.

"From a total of around 9,000 students in Matraman District, there are still 7,000 students who have not been vaccinated. This will continue to be maximized", said Andriansyah.

Andriansyah also said that the COVID-19 vaccination at the Balai Pustaka Building, Matraman, East Jakarta, targets students over the age of 12.

Scheduled, the event is planned until August 16, 2021, and if it turns out to be in high demand, it will continue until the end of August 2021.

According to data from Matraman District, in the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination, this Tuesday, a total of 350 residents of the 12-59 year age group participated. The comparison is 80 percent for students and 20 percent for the general public.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Economic and Development Section of Palmeriam Village, Faqieh Insani, said that the vaccination at the Balai Pustaka Building was the result of collaboration between the DKI Provincial Government and PT. Balai Pustaka, PT. Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia (PDSI), Semen Indonesia Group, and Farma Lab.

"Vaccination services are also carried out every day, including Saturdays and Sundays, so that the vaccination achievement can be maximized in the next 10 days", said Faqieh.
