JAKARTA – Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs, Luhut Panjaitan, who is also in charge of PPKM Level 4 in Java and Bali, stated that the extension of the PPKM (Restrictions on Community Activities) was based on several things. If there are two shifts, it can operate 100 percent in staff and factory production. It is also necessary to arrange entry and exit as well as meal times that do not coincide.

Luhut gave an example of the implementation in the city of Kudus, Central Java, which has been running very well, compared to a month and a half ago.

Meanwhile, people's markets that sell non-daily necessities can operate with a maximum capacity of 50 percent. Operational hours are also until 17.00 local time. For five-time traders and other similar businesses, they are allowed to open by implementing strict health protocols, until 20.00 local time.

Warteg and hawker stalls (food stalls) are also allowed to open until 20.00 local time with a capacity of 25 percent and eating time is limited to 30 minutes.

While the activities of shopping centers, malls, and trade centers are opened with a maximum capacity of 25 percent, until 17.00 local time. Public construction works can also operate with a maximum number of 10 workers.

For places of worship or other places that function as places of worship, they can perform religious worship, in the congregation, during the implementation of PPKM Level 3, with a maximum capacity of 25 percent or 20 people. However, you must continue to apply strict health protocols.

For public transportation and mass forces, taxis and rental rentals are a maximum of 50 percent capacity. For Level 3, wedding receptions are allowed with a maximum of 20 invitations. However, you are not allowed to eat on the spot and apply stricter health protocols.

In addition, Luhut explained that tracing and testing activities will also continue to be improved throughout Java and Bali. "This activity will be coordinated by the TNI and Police as well as Public Health Center in the area", said Luhut.
