Attorney General Burhanuddin Conveys Sad News, 38 Prosecutors Died During Pandemic

JAKARTA - Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia, Sanitiar Burhanuddin, said that as many as 52 prosecutors' employees had died during the COVID-19 pandemic until the period of July 16, 2021, of which 38 were prosecutors, and 14 were administrative employees.

"Based on existing records, a total of 52 prosecutors' employees have died, consisting of 38 prosecutors and 14 administrative employees as of July 16, 2021", said Burhanuddin in a mandate delivered at the Commemoration Ceremony of the Day of Bhakti Adhyaksa (HBA) 61st year 2021 virtually from the Attorney General's office, at the Kartika Adhyaksa Tower Building, South Jakarta, reported by Antara, Thursday, July 22.

On the commemoration of the 61st Adhyaksa Bhakti Day, Burhanuddin started his message by paying respects to the Adhyaksa people who had died, and praying for those who were exposed to recover as before.

According to him, since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia in March 2021, many people have infected and died, including many Adhyaksa people who have been exposed.

Until now, said Burhanuddin, several Adhyaksa people are struggling to recover from exposure to COVID-19. For that, he also provides support for Adhyaksa people wherever they are.

"Hopefully he recovers quickly and returns to his activities", he said.

As for those who have died, Burhanuddin also invites all Adhyaksa people to pray that the deceased and the deceased who have faced the Creator will be accepted for their deeds of worship.

"Let us pray that the deceased and the deceased are accepted by all their deeds of worship, forgiven all their sins, and get the best place in the side of God the Most Gracious and Most Merciful", said Burhanuddin.

On the commemoration of Bhakti Adhyaksa Day, Burhanuddin said that Bhakti Adhyaksa Day, which is celebrated every year, should be interpreted as a momentum to evaluate and introspect on everything that has been done so far and to formulate what steps to take in the future. Especially in responding to challenges and overcoming the current situation, without having to reduce enthusiasm for work and work.

The 61st Adhyaksa Bhakti Day (HBA) 2021 has the theme "Working for the Nation" which is a continuation of the previous year's HBA theme, which wants the Adhyaksa Corps to "Keep Moving and Working", especially in supporting and ensuring every Government policy as an effort to accelerate the handling COVID-19 and National Economic Recovery (PEN).
