COVID-19 Hoax By Doctor Lois Owien Causes Many Victims, The Police Intervene

JAKARTA - The National Police stated that they would look for parties who spread information that there were victims who fell as a result of being deceived by the COVID-19 hoax revealed by Lois Owien.

Originally, it was rumored that someone died because of believing Lois Owien's hoax. Because the person does not want to take medicine for his recovery.

"We will check the truth later", said the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono, in his statement, Monday, July 19.

On a different occasion, the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Indonesian National Police, Commissioner General Agus Andrianto, regretted that there were still those who were caught up in the COVID-19 hoax. In fact, the fact is that many people have been exposed.

"Many have died because of COVID-19, how come they still believe in hoaxes?", he said.

In addition, Agus also said that taking medicine and vaccines is one way to avoid the spread of COVID-19

Moreover, the government has facilitated the community to undergo the COVID-19 vaccination process for free. Therefore, there is great hope that the community will follow the vaccination process.

"The government has prepared vaccine facilities for the community free of charge on an ongoing basis, the choice is for the people themselves. Those who have comorbidities, of course, considering doctors can give them or not, hope that others will participate in achieving communal immunity", said Agus.
