SEMARANG - National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, ensured that the needs for medicine and necessities for residents who are undergoing self-isolation due to exposure to COVID-19 will still be met.

This was conveyed by the National Police Chief when interacting online with residents who were undergoing self-isolation at the Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) Command Post in Tembalang District, Semarang City, Friday, July 16.

The National Police Chief invites residents who are undergoing self-isolation to report to Babinsa or Bhabinkamtibmas if they run out of medicine or necessities.

"If it's finished, report to the Babinsa (village supervisory non-commissioned officers). When it's finished, it will be sent again", he said, quoted by Antara, Friday, July 16.

In a series of visits to Semarang, the National Police Chief together with the TNI Commander Marshal, Hadi Tjahjanto, also checked the implementation of vaccinations at the Holy Stadium.

Meanwhile, the TNI Commander emphasized the importance of wearing masks. Marshal Hadi said there are still many people who neglect to use masks while on the move.

In fact, according to him, the important role of this individual is very decisive in the fight against COVID-19.

"We must use masks so that the rate of positive cases does not continue to rise. This is a shared responsibility", he said.

"When the vaccination was accelerated, but some forgot, did not wear a mask", continued Marshal Hadi.
