Held A Wedding Reception In The Middle Of An Emergency PPKM, The Head Of Pancoran Mas Village In Depok Was Removed From His Position

JAKARTA - The City Government (Pemkot) of Depok, West Java, has finally imposed a sanction to remove the head of the village who violates the rules for implementing emergency community activity restrictions (PPKM) when holding a wedding reception in Mampang Village, Pancoran District, Depok City.

"We have submitted the Decree of the Mayor of Depok Number 862/KEP-1721/BKPSDM/2021 issued on July 8, 2021, concerning the Imposition of Disciplinary Sentences in the Form of Release from Position on behalf of Brother S. The decree has been received directly by the person concerned," said Head of the Depok City Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM), Supian Suri, in a statement released by Antara, Saturday.

The decision is contained in the Decree (SK) of the Mayor of Depok Number 862/KEP-1721/BKPSDM/2021 concerning the Imposition of Disciplinary Sentences in the Form of Release from Position on behalf of Mr. S.

Supian explained that the decision had gone through procedures in accordance with applicable regulations. Starting from a request for information by the BKPSDM followed by a special examination by the Special Examination team (Riksus), chaired by the Assistant Inspector Region II.

Then, the results of the special examination are stated in the Examination Result Report (LHP) signed by the Depok City Inspector, Firmanudin, SE, Ak, which recommends the type of punishment to be given by considering mitigating and aggravating factors.

"The Mayor of Depok, Mohammad Idris, as the Civil Service Guidance Officer, has determined the disciplinary punishment through the Mayor's Decree No. 862/Kep-1721/BKPSDM/2021," he asserted.

Supian added, to fill the vacancy, the Mayor has appointed Syaiful Hidayat, the Secretary of Pancoran Mas Sub-district as the Acting Head of Pancoran Mas Village Head.

The appointment was determined through an Acting Executor's Order Number: 824.4/3685/BKPSDM dated July 9, 2021.
