JAKARTA - The Raja Ampat Regency Government, West Papua Province issued a circular that obliges everyone who visits the area to have a certificate of having been vaccinated against COVID-19. If you have been vaccinated, this certificate can be downloaded in the PeduliLindung application.

Circular Letter number 440/377/Setda regarding the implementation of vaccinations as an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Raja Ampat Regency officially took effect on July 3, 2021, and was supervised by the Police.

Raja Ampat Police Chief, AKBP Andre Julius William Manuputy in Waisai, Tuesday said that the policy was a mutual agreement to protect the district from the spread of COVID-19.

The circular letter of the Raja Ampat Regency Government contains four points, namely (1) Every operator and user of sea and air transportation services are required to show a vaccine certificate or have implemented a COVID-19 vaccine. Then, (2) TNI, Polri, and ASN apparatus who want to travel using sea and land public transportation are required to show a certificate of having carried out the vaccine.

Then, (3) Everyone who is registered as a resident of Raja Ampat who refuses the vaccine will be subject to administrative sanctions, in the form of delay or termination of social assistance, suspension of government administration services, and or fines.

Then, (4) The process for recipients of BLT (direct cash assistance) for all communities in the Raja Ampat Regency area who have a history of internal disease is required to show a certificate from the RSUD/Puskesmas explaining that the person concerned cannot receive the vaccine.
